I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but have spent most of my life living in Southern Indiana. I graduated with a B.F.A. in painting from the Herron School of Art and Design in 2014. 

In 2020, after a three year break from painting, I began exploring the relationship between color and music. I spent the next two years translating musical chords and scales into visual compositions. Having gained a deeper understanding of color relationships during that time, I’m now broadly exploring the realm of abstract figuration.
